Batoi Corporate Office 
Batoi, in collaboration with the Srusti Academy of Management (Autonomous), successfully organized the Srusti Tech Hack 1.0 on January 25-26, 2025. This state-level hackathon, devised to encourage technological innovation in rural governance, was showcased with the theme DigiGram Vikashit Bharat.
Twenty-one teams representing over 30 colleges across the state participated in the two-day event. It provided a platform for aspiring technologists to develop, prototype, and present their digital solutions to real-world challenges.
Innovation and Skill Development
The hackathon encouraged participants to go beyond the fundamentals and write custom codes to build features and extend functionalities. Participants could use their preferred programming languages and frameworks, which helped them have a flexible and creative problem-solving environment.
In addition to developing applications from scratch, teams had the opportunity to integrate Batoi's Insight platform, which provided robust data analytics and survey management capabilities to enhance their solutions.
Expert mentors from industry and academia provided guidance, helping participants refine their projects into practical and impactful solutions.
The Competitive Edge
Participants tackled one of four problem statements, focusing on pressing rural governance and development issues. The projects were evaluated based on innovation, creativity, technical implementation, and real-world applicability.
After an intense competition, the following teams emerged as winners:
- 🏆 Champion: Primeagen, CV Raman Global University – Citizen Grievance Analytics Portal
- 🥈 1st Runner-up: Arcus Gift, GIFT Bhubaneswar – Rural Education Insights
- 🥉 2nd Runner-up: LogicLoom, College of Engineering Bhubaneswar – Healthcare Access Dashboard
Additionally, LogicLoom won the Most Voted Team on Social Media award.
The Srusti Tech Hack 1.0 was a launchpad for innovation, networking, and career opportunities. Participants interacted with the technology experts and availed themselves of mentorship. Meanwhile, Batoi announced internship opportunities and mentorship for the top team looking to scale their projects further.

Srusti Tech Hack 1.0 was a resounding success. It showcased young innovators' technical and problem-solving skills; also highlighted how digital technology can improve rural governance, and provided students with hands-on experience developing real-world applications.
